The people working here are always very nice. When it's busy it can be really slow. I've had most of the things on the menu. The food is good.

The classy croissant breakfast sandwich is always a winner! The workers are always polite regardless if they're backed up or not. The basil lemonade is a must try!

This was the most unexpected surprise. The food was perfect and I'll get into that, but I want to start by talking about Mrs. Maple who came from behind the counter to talk to and my girlfriend. She is the sweetest 83 year old and was insistent that I was a singer. She came to check on us twice during our meal and told us that she made the biscuits. Y'all. This was one of the best biscuits I've ever had in my life. This place was already 5 stars before she came over, but she made our meal even better. Love the salmon croquettes. Perfectly crispy on the outside. The scrambled eggs with were amazing. This food tastes like it came straight out of a loving grandma's kitchen. It's a great place to work too, they play music in the background but not too loud. Coffee was great. I had a vanilla latte and loved it. Not too sweet, not bitter or burnt.

I fell in love with my coffee shop at Eastlake, not because of the food, but because of Miss Mabel who works there. She is the sweetest lady I have met in ages and she had me grinning from ear to ear. That being said my coffee shop is a small establishment. When you enter, it's very friendly, and they welcome you to come to the counter and order and then you seat yourself and your order is brought to you. The food was good, it reminds you of what your grandmother cooks on a Saturday morning when you were a child. I had the salmon croquet breakfast that came with egg scrambled with cheese, grits and toast. The grits were a bit thick and under seasoned, and the eggs were perfect. The salmon croquettes were a bit overworked, but still tasted really good. But the best part of the meal was the AMAZING basil lemonade (it said so on the cup). It sounds odd, and if you don't like basil, this drink is not for you. However, I love basil, and when this bright green lemonade came out, I knew I had found my spirit animal. It is wonderfully basil-y and I loved it! Granted, the lemonade is super sweet, so I ended up taking it home and mixing it half water/half lemonade, but that wasn't a problem for me because that mean I got twice as much! I would definitely recommend visiting my coffee shop and checking out not only the food, but the great people that work there and make sure you say hello to Miss Maple!
